About

I design complex software: clinical tools, regulated platforms, design systems. Currently the first in-house designer at a healthtech whose records run in 19 hospitals. I research, design and ship, and I write a fair amount of the code myself.

What I do

I own the design process end to end on software that carries real consequences: research with the people who use it, concept, prototypes, usability testing, then implementation alongside engineering. High-density interfaces are where I am most useful. Tables, advanced filters, roles and permissions, audit trails, regulated flows.

I also build. The design system I maintain exports its tokens as JSON into the codebase, our marketing site runs on a Webflow build I did myself, and several of the tools the team uses day to day are ones I wrote. When the deliverable is a tool rather than a mockup, I would rather ship the tool.

Every decision that commits us to something lives in a versioned register, with its context, the call, and what it rules out. More than fifty of them so far. The memory of a project should not live in one person's head.

Where I have done it

Since October 2024 I am the first in-house designer at Galeon, a healthtech building a sovereign cloud health record now running in 19 hospitals for around 10 000 caregivers a day. Two products, a multi-product design system, the brand, the fundraising material, and an apprentice designer to bring up. Landing pages above 8 per cent lead conversion, and a contribution to a two million euro raise.

Before that, IBM Consulting from 2022 to 2024, on a long engagement at Crédit Mutuel: more than twenty back-office screens, and an AI assistant embedded in the workflow of 200 banking agents that cut input errors by 30 per cent and brought procedure lookup from about ninety seconds down to fifteen.

And from 2020 to 2022, the Air France Digital Factory, contributing to the group's cross-team design system used by more than forty front-end engineers, and designing two products on top of it to prove the system in production.

Master's and Bachelor's in Interaction Design from Gobelins, Paris.

Outside the job

I ship small products in public, mostly to keep the practice of building honest. Two paid plugins on the Figma Community, Chromashift for AI-assisted brand recolouring and Heavyweights for trimming bloated Figma files. A travel-planning app in closed beta. Around twenty things shipped, five with real users on them.
